Emma Watson was at the One Young World Summit 2016 in Ottawa on 29th September to talk about gender equality and the importance of bringing young people into politics.
The previous day she met prime minister Justin Trudeau and visited the Canadian parliament.
The opening cerimony of the Summit took place at Parliament Hill with the presence of Kofi Annan, Mary Robinson and Justin Trudeau.
Just before the event Emma shared a small gallery that shows her training with Lina Khalifeh, founder of "She Fighter"; the first self defence studio for women in the Middle East.
She also announced the presence of Lina and other eight activists who won a scholarship in her name at One Young World Ottawa.
Of course she was in her Eco-friendly dresses made by Maiyet and Dior in association with Eco-Age.
